Diaphragm air operated valves

Features and advantages

•  All SITEC high-pressure valves are available with diaphragm type air operators for remote control. High reliability.
• To satisfy all safety requirements, the valves can be ordered with the following air operator functions:
  NO: normally open, air 6 bar to close.
  NC: normally closed, air 6 bar to open.
• Easy and solid installation with mounting angle.
• Variable positioning on the circumference.
•  Valve body made of AISI 316Ti or 17-4 PH stainless steel for maximum corrosion and wear resistance of seat and tubing cones.
• Zero leakage provides high integrity and performance.
• Safety weep holes on tubing connections and packing area.
• Connections for inch or metric SITEC HP tubing.
• Fluid temperature 200°C maximum, ambient 80°C.
• Typical applications: see page 710.03.
• All valves are factory tested and available at short notice.
• For heavy duty applications the valve models with replaceable seat (type 6) are recommended.

Options

• 3/2-way solenoid valves for remote control.
• Visual or electrical position indication.
• Position indicators with 1 or 2 electric contacts. Inductive or microswitch.
• Version according to directive 94/9/EG (ATEX).
• Air-operated high-temperature valves with high-temperature extension up to 300°C (with fluid cooling up to 450°C).
• Low-wear version with lip seal and coated stem.
