Features and advantages

Absolutely leak-proof with liquids. For gas applications the double-ball valves or the soft-seated check valves are recommended. Leak tightness and reliability with ball in ductile ceramic material, featuring highest surface hardness and polish combined with perfect geometry. High corrosion resistance – type AISI 316Ti or 17-4 PH stainless steel. Cracking pressure ~1 bar (type 1, 2, 3) or 2 bar (type 4, 5, 6).

Soft-seated check valves for gas service

Features and advantages

Unidirectional flow preventing any backflow of fluids in critical process, instrument and analytical applications. Reliable leak tightness in gas and liquid service. Leak-free service with soft-seat PUR seal combined with metallic back-up seat. Minimum pressure drop with full flow capacity across the poppet. Safety weep holes on connections for leak detection. Very good corrosion resistance with the valve body in AISI 316Ti, all wetted parts in stainless steel and the seal in PUR. Cracking pressure 1–2 bar. Higher cracking pressures available on request. With upstream pressure exceeding downstream pressure by 1–2 bar, the fluid is free to flow in the direction of the arrow. If this value is not reached, the valve automatically checks and prevents reverse flow.
